“I’ve always loved the idea of not being what people expect me to be.”
All the world’s a stage / And all the men and women merely players / They have their exits and their entrances / And one man in his time plays many parts / His acts being seven ages.” If William Shakespeare is correct, then here’s one of my many parts that I’m playing: this blog is my creative outlet – an open journal to you, if you will.

ABOUT THE GIRL
“Do you not know I am a woman? When I think, I must speak.” – As You Like It (Act III, Scene ii, Line 134).
There are people in this world who sit in the front pew at Mass every Sunday, but will silently stand by while a roomful of atheists debate why there is no God. There are people in this world who absolutely detest carrots, but will eat carrots on a first date. Now, I know why these types of people exist. I understand that some people just don’t like confrontation or conflict, don’t want to appear impolite, or stand out from the crowd with a different opinion.
I am not one of these people. That’s not to say I am rude, brash or disrespectful – although my mouth has gotten me into trouble more times than I would like (you can blame my Italian heritage for not having a filter.) I am merely stating that I don’t change my opinion based on my social surroundings. Call it what you will – brave, arrogant, or stubborn – but with me, you’ll always know what I’m thinking. So, welcome to the inside of my mind.
ABOUT THE CAREER
“Sir, I thank God, I have been so well brought up that I can write my name.” Henry VI (Act IV, Scene ii, Line 102).
I have an insatiable desire to learn, which is why I knew I wanted to go to university after I completed high school. After trying my hand in psychology, I figured my talents were better suited to what I enjoyed most at school: English, History and Philosophy. Now, I’m the proud owner of two degrees: BA (Double Major in English and History) and BLitt (Major in Theology).
I’ve written for as long as I can remember, but I’ve been getting paid to write since 2011. My passion for reading definitely sparked my love of the English language and subsequent career choice. By trade, I’m a content writer & blogger.
Before sitting in front of a laptop, I spent over nine years in retail fashion. While I don’t miss the rude customers, the pressure to sell, or the drama, I do miss the cheap clothes (I mean that literally and figuratively.) I also dabbled a bit in promotional modelling, with my biggest achievement representing Alfa Romeo at the 2007 Melbourne International Motor Show.
THE PORTFOLIO
“To business that we love we rise betimes and go to ‘t with delight.” Antony & Cleopatra (Act IV, Scene iv, Line 20).
I’ve had the pleasure of writing for a number of industries, whether my career took me in-house, at huge digital marketing agencies, or freelance. Below is a small sample of clients that I have written for.
